Description

Returns an interface for controlling the parallel pool for paralell computations.

Favago TPI v4.6 or later

Syntax

interface = Parallel(Opt)

Parameters
Opt An instance of the structure Opt.

Attributes

  • poolobj

    The parallel.Pool object, see the documentation for more details.

  • try2open

    Number of attempts to open the parallel pool.

  • try2open_max

    Maximal number of attemts to open the parallel pool.

  • waitsec

    A period to wait between the attempts to open the parallel pool.

Methods

Parallel::openPool

Description


Opens the parallel pool for parallel compuattion. The opened pool is stored in the attribute poolobj. If the parallel.Pool fails to open, another attempt is tried in waitsec seconds at least try2open_max times.

Parallel::closePool

Description


Close the parallel pool stored in the attribute poolobj.

interface.closePool( fhandle )
